Set in the countryside of Carovigno, with views stretching towards the Adriatic, Villa Rosata is a four-bedroom retreat designed by Studio Andrew Trotter. Inspired by the coastal villas of Puglia, the residence pairs soft rose-toned walls, local stone and generous colonnades with an understated contemporary sensibility.

Inside, natural textures and warm, earthy colours create a calm backdrop for vintage furniture, sculptural lighting and locally sourced ceramics. Pale limestone floors connect the living spaces, while expansive windows frame the landscape and draw sunlight into the home. A bespoke terrazzo kitchen island brings a tactile focal point to the kitchen, and generous built-in seating invites relaxed afternoons overlooking the pool.

Accommodating up to eight guests, the four bedrooms are arranged between the main house and a separate guest building, offering a thoughtful balance of connection and privacy. Three double bedrooms each have a private garden with an outdoor shower, while the fourth features twin beds. Quiet interiors and a close relationship with the outdoors give the sleeping spaces a restful, intimate atmosphere.

Beyond the house, a broad veranda shaded by natural cane provides a welcoming setting for leisurely lunches and afternoon repose. Terraces extend towards the generous swimming pool, with space to gather, unwind and enjoy the surrounding countryside. An outdoor kitchen and wood-fired oven make shared meals an essential part of life here, from simple seasonal lunches to evenings spent dining beneath the stars.
